Being able to visualise how an event may look and feel can be immensely helpful in making key decisions throughout the entire pre-production period.

Using a variety of programs I can create room floorplans, stage designs, lighting designs, virtual environments, single frame or animated renderings, and simulate effects commonly used for concert, theatre and corporate event productions.

The advantages to using this event design approach are many and include:

• A 3D simulated environment can help describe and impress a client that 2D illustrations cannot duplicate
• Deciding which marketing elements (logos, colours, branding) are best to incorporate into rooms and sets.
• Comparing different options with costs can ensure a return on investment.
• Exploring the logistics of integrating light, video, effects and even audio elements in a show design to eliminate surprises during the setup.
• The stakeholders of a project (decorators, venue managers, etc.) can visualise how the different elements of an event will affect each other.
